ULHS- 1st Place in Jack & Jill and Slow Dance!

I went to the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown just to have fun dancing, drinking, and just plain out have fun in the city. But sometimes being in a contest means you finally get enough floor space to dance full out. And dang, these contest dances ended up being some of the best dancing of the weekend for me.

In the Jack & Jill, I was paired with Maeva Truntzer. This was the very first time I had ever danced with her, EVER! So this was our first dance and it was captured on video and rewarded with a 1st place award. Yes we ended up taking 1st place in this audience judged contest.
